The Wisdom of a great tradition

The Delle Venezie DOC comes from the history and culture of women and men who have built the great “Triveneto vineyard” daily. Pinot Grigio’s production system is today based on a young, modern, environmentally friendly vine-growing system that looks towards quality productions, ensuring that these wines represent those expressed values to the final consumer.

One Land’s Quality

The Pinot Grigio Delle Venezie DOC production area, Triveneto, features the perfect conditions to grow this unique grape, an international symbol of Italian winemaking tradition today. A vast amphitheater encloses a wide range of diversity and extraordinary terroirs where the vine is rooted: from the Dolomites to the north and Lake Garda up to the Lagoon of Venice, the Adriatic Sea and the beautiful hills of Collio.
And here, more than any other Italian wine region, the Pinot Grigio can express its very best.
Winemaking has always tied the Northeast of Italy together when we speak of the Triveneto Autonomous Regions of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Veneto and the
Autonomous Province of Trento.
A wide land that had already begun cultivating and harvesting grapes between the 7th and 5th century BC, indeed guarding a great historical background.
In particular, the Pinot Grigio vine was already found in the Venetian area at the end of the 1800s.

Vine's Uniqueness

Vine's Uniqueness

The Pinot Grigio, this complex and versatile grape variety, finds
its homeland in the Venetian area. The wines, here produced,
present different nuances of scents and flavors, united by their
versatility, easy-drinking approach, freshness and minerality.
These qualities have quickly helped to conquer all over the
world consumers: today, Pinot Grigio represents the main exported
Italian grape variety.

Guaranteeing the Origin

Guaranteeing the Origin

The Consorzio Tutela Vini Delle Venezie DOC was established in 2017 by the Italian wineries of the North-Eastern territory to create the most prominent wine organization among regions, including, in one big Appellation of Origin, the Autonomous Region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, the Autonomous Province of Trento and the Veneto region.
The Consortium was founded to protect and promote an Appellation that represents the unique style of the Italian Pinot Grigio, well-expressed in the Triveneto area, that produces versatile, fresh and fruity white wines appreciated
worldwide. At the end of the entire production chain certification process, each Delle Venezie DOC bottle passes through professional oenologists’ tasting
commissions and finally receives the Italian Government Seal as the maximum expression of a certified quality wine. Moreover, thanks to the recent foundation of the Delle Venezie DOC, yields per hectare have been reduced to ensure a new level of qualitative excellence for this great Italian wine.
